Stainless Steel

At L & P Designs, we use our capabilities to provide quality stainless steel nameplates and I.D. tags that are extremely durable and cost effective. We use the power and speed of lasers to provide high contrast, permanent marks that will not fade and are easily read from any angle.

Marks made on stainless steel have been tested against and survived abrasion, salt water spray, lubricants, heat, fire, solvents, acids, and bases.

Uses for our metal marking system include: identification nameplates, motor data nameplates, bar coding, tool marking, parts identification, product numbering, serial numbering, and lot numbering.

We use our laser to provide other services as well including: engraving anodized aluminum, cutting Mylar, cutting and engraving wood, plastics and acrylics, die cutting adhesive backed materials, stencil cutting, gasket cutting, graphic overlays, and kiss cutting adhesives. The process can be used for gasket cutting in materials such as Teflon, rubber, nylon, cork, neoprene, and Mylar.
